Terms of Service
Version 0.1 — 2 November 2026. These terms govern all use of TelecomsNow.
1. Who we are, and what TelecomsNow is
TelecomsNow ("the Platform", "we") provides online business-administration tools for telecoms contracting firms in the United Kingdom — compliance tracking, team scheduling, document checking and invoicing. In these terms, "Owner" means the registered account holder of a company account, and "Member" means an additional user added to that account by its Owner. The Owner is responsible for their Members' use of the Platform.
2. Our role
TelecomsNow is a software tool. We are not a party to, and take no part in, any contract for work between you and your clients. We do not supply, provide, engage or employ labour, we do not introduce you to work, and we do not handle, hold, guarantee or process any payment for work. Invoices you raise using the Platform are issued by you to your client; collection and payment are entirely a matter between you and your client.
3. Accounts
3.1 Account information must be accurate, current, and relate to the registering company. Registering an account in the name of, or purporting to be, another business is prohibited and grounds for immediate termination.
3.2 Email addresses must be confirmed before an account is used. Certain functions (billing, team and account management) are reserved to Owners. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
4. Your data and documents
4.1 You upload your own records — insurance and inspection certificates, engineer training and competency records, equipment calibration, client details and job information. You confirm you are entitled to provide any personal data you upload (including engineers' names, dates of birth and training records), and that you will keep that data accurate.
4.2 Your data belongs to you. We process it to provide the Platform's features to you, and we do not disclose your jobs, rates, clients or records to other users. You may export your compliance records, and you may share a read-only, time-limited compliance pack with a client or auditor at your discretion.
4.3 Document checks, expiry alerts and status indicators (including HOP Check results) are provided to assist you. They are not a warranty or certification. You remain responsible for the validity, currency and accuracy of your own documents and for meeting your statutory duties; you should not rely on the Platform as a substitute for your own compliance checks.
5. Acceptable use
You must not upload false, altered or another firm's documents; use the Platform for anything other than your own legitimate business administration; interfere with its proper operation; or use another account's credentials. Breach is grounds for immediate suspension or termination.
6. Fees
The tools described above are provided free of charge during the current period. If we introduce paid features in future, we will tell you clearly and you will choose whether to take them; your existing data and free use will not be charged for retrospectively.
7. Liability
7.1 Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability which cannot lawfully be excluded.
7.2 Subject to 7.1: the Platform is provided "as is"; we exclude all implied warranties; we are not liable for any decision you take, or omit to take, on the basis of information shown in the Platform; we are not liable for loss of profit, business, contracts or data, or any indirect or consequential loss; and our total aggregate liability to any account in any 12-month period is limited to the fees paid to us by that account in that period (or £100 where no fees were paid).
8. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate an account which breaches these terms or provides false information. You may close your account at any time. On closure we retain data only for so long as is required for legal and audit purposes.
9. General
We may amend these terms; material changes will be notified through the Platform and apply to activity after the change. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
